DELTA dugout: CATCH A FLIGHT

LEAD CREATIVE // mkg

Over the course of several years, I had the opportunity to work on and evolve the long-running Delta Dugout platform - a program celebrating Delta’s sponsorship of MLB teams and the loyal fans of both the airline and baseball. With the ‘Catch a Flight’ campaign, we helped to craft a multi-pronged, multi-city program that was the most successful Dugout iteration to date.

We activated live in NYC and Atlanta, delighting baseball and Delta fans, young and old.


NEW YORK

To highlight its commitment as the official airline of New York baseball, we popped up the Delta Dugout ‘Catch a Flight’ experience in the heart of Flatiron Plaza. We gave fans the opportunity to literally ‘Catch a Flight’ by using our custom launcher to catapult baseballs into oversized mitts. By ‘making a catch’, fans could win great prizes such as stadium suites, game tickets, flight vouchers, team memorabilia and more.

ATLANTA

As the hometown airline, Delta has had a longstanding partnership with the Atlanta Braves. So to celebrate and honor the Braves final season at Turner Field, we used our Catch a Flight program to give fans a true all-access Dugout experience. With a social contest hosted on instagram, we rewarded lucky fans with a day that included exclusive access to the field and behind the scenes tour of the stadium, baseball-themed catering at the Sky 360 Lounge, and meet & greets with vet players Chipper Jones and Ryan Klesko.

Our Catch a Flight launch experience came to life on the field, giving fans the chance to win incredible Braves memorabilia, Delta flights and more.
