THE LAST HOUSE: SURVIVING IN A BILLBOARD

THE LAST HOUSE: Surviving in a billboard

How long could you survive if you were trapped inside your house with no idea when, or if, you’d ever get out?

This is the scenario at the heart of Netflix’s sci-fi thriller The Last House that we needed to bring to life…and it had to be done fast, in a spectacularly public, super noisy fashion.

The solution? “Trap” a real live man inside a furnished living room, built into a billboard, 30 feet above Sunset Boulevard. All of LA (and the world) watched on as he attempted to maintain a sense normalcy, communicating with commuters and passersby below via whiteboard - an eerie nod to the family’s own isolation in the film - making some new friends, and a whole bunch of headlines, along the way.
